Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a detail-oriented risk analyst to support the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program, focusing on quantitative analysis, regulatory deliverables, and model maintenance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, automate data processes, and help translate business questions into rigorous analytics using SQL, Excel, VBA, and potentially R or Python. The role blends technical work with business insight in a full-time on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with quantitative analysis, financial or statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Excel with SQL and VBA.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Willingness to learn complex quantitative models and ownership.
• Self-starter with ability to ask questions and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of quantitative risk models and own maintenance.
• Support enterprise economic capital model and risk tools; investigate issues and implement changes.
• Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to translate business information into quantitative analysis.
• Prepare and analyze complex datasets with profiling, cleansing, validation, and transformation.
• Use SQL, Excel, and VBA; and R or Python for data extraction and analysis.
• Maintain auditable documentation of data sources, rules, models, assumptions, and governance.
• Support stress-scenario development and enterprise risk quantification.
• Build relationships and communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Take ownership of assignments and identify opportunities to improve data quality and processes.
