Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV) in Omaha, NE seeks a highly analytical Quantitative Analyst to join the Business Optimization and Innovation team. You will design models, simulations, and analytics to optimize natural gas transport and storage.

You will collaborate across technical, quantitative, and business teams to deliver practical analytical solutions and measurable business value. The role emphasizes data integrity, security practices, and hands-on development of production-ready tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in quantitative field (Data Science, Math, ML, etc.).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and proactive delivery.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Python/ MATLAB/ R and SQL; write maintainable code.
• Experience with graph data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Lead 0-to-1 design and development of models, simulations, and analytics.
• Translate complex business challenges into analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape practical solutions.
• Develop and maintain a production-ready analytics roadmap.
• Provide excellent customer support for analytical products.
• Navigate ambiguous problems with prudent judgment.
• Support full project lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Test and validate product releases for reliable deployment.
• Develop deep understanding of user needs and operations.
