Job summary

Chicago Trading Company (CTC) is seeking a Quant Trading Associate (QTA), an entry-level role with broad exposure to our trading and quant organization as you progress toward a role as a Quant Trader or Quant Researcher.

As a QTA, you will work in a high-impact team, identifying trading opportunities and impacting the team through back-testing, data analysis, and pricing of derivatives, while communicating with traders, risk managers, software engineers, and quants.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. All majors welcome.
• You will graduate between December 2026-June 2027.
• Demonstrated record of success (academics, awards, etc.).
• Willing to relocate to Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Identify trading opportunities and impact your team through problem solving.
• Trade execution, strategy formulation, back-testing, data analysis, and pricing of traded derivatives.
• Communicate with traders, risk managers, software engineers, and quants throughout the trading day.
• Learn all aspects of the trading and quant operation and the technology curriculum.
