Job summary

Chicago Trading Company (CTC) invites you to join our Quant Trading Associate program, an entry-level path into trading and quantitative research. You will gain broad exposure, work toward a Quant Trader or Quant Researcher role, and learn trading dynamics, pricing, back-testing, and data analysis with a collaborative team.

You will communicate with traders, risk managers, and engineers, while exploring technology integration and ongoing education within our firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with graduation window Dec 2026–Jun 2027.
• Demonstrated record of academic success (awards, etc.).
• Willingness to relocate to Chicago, IL.
• No prior experience in finance required, but strong curiosity and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Identify trading opportunities and impact the team through data analysis and back-testing.
• Model and price traded derivatives and participate in trade execution.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, developers and risk managers throughout the day.
• Engage in data-driven research to generate alpha and inform strategy.
