Job summary

Talener partners with a prestigious global investment firm headquartered in Greenwich, CT, seeking a Software Engineer (Quant Research) to support the Quantitative Research team and build the platforms powering research and investments.

This hybrid role requires onsite work 2 days per week and remote 3 days, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with the business side and solid Python, NumPy, Pandas, SQL, and AI framework experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python, NumPy and Pandas in quant research.
• Hands-on SQL experience.
• Understanding of AI and agentic frameworks.
• Experience with design patterns and object-oriented programming.
• Strong communication and ability to work with the business side.

Responsibilities

• Support specialized investments through quantitative research platform development.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Maintain and optimize data pipelines and analytical tools.
