Role Description

We’re looking for an AI Research Engineer to help design and build the core intelligence behind the CPZ® AI product suite. This is a hands‑on role that blends research and engineering — ideal for someone who enjoys pushing technical boundaries while shipping real product.

Responsibilities

• Developing and training next-generation AI models for quantitative reasoning
• Building agent‑based, macroeconomic, and probabilistic simulation engines
• Designing model architectures for financial forecasting, scenario testing, and strategy generation
• Implementing NLP systems that can reason over market structure, reports, and financial data
• Productionizing research into scalable modules for CPZ AI Quant Studio
• Collaborating with design + engineering to shape user experience and product direction

Qualifications

• Strong background in Machine Learning, AI systems, or Quantitative Modeling
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow)
• Knowledge of NLP, LLMs, or multimodal models is a plus
• Experience with simulation, agent‑based modeling, Bayesian methods, or macro modeling is highly valued
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with R, Julia, Rust, or C++ is a bonus
• Comfort working across research and engineering
• Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in CS, Engineering, Applied Math, Stats, or related fields preferred
• Ability to work in a fast, experimental environment and ship quickly
