Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. invites applications for a Quant Analyst Intern to join our quantitative research team in a highly motivated, onsite 9-week program.

We seek students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in quantitative fields with strong Python, R, or MATLAB skills, a GPA of 3.5+, and a passion for financial markets and trading. Daily lunches, free beverages, and wellness/fitness perks are provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, financial engineering, physics, or related quantitative field.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and testing quantitative models for trading strategies and risk management
• Conduct statistical analysis on large financial datasets
• Support the implementation of algorithmic trading strategies
• Perform back-testing and validation of quantitative models
• Collaborate with senior analysts on research projects
• Create data visualizations and present findings to the team
