Job summary

Schneider Electric in Fairfield, OH seeks an Electrical Quality Test Technologist (1st shift) to support testing of low and medium voltage products. You will interpret schematics, operate automated and manual test equipment, and document findings to ensure product quality.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in manufacturing or electronics testing, and proficiency with diagnostic tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field; or equivalent technical experience.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing or electronics testing environment.
• Familiarity with industrial automation products and systems is a plus.
• Proficient in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, and other diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and final testing of assembled electronic products.
• Interpret schematics and test procedures to verify functionality.
• Operate automated and manual test equipment to validate performance.
• Troubleshoot failures to component level and document findings.
• Maintain accurate test records and documentation per quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety and ESD protocols.
• Support continuous improvement in testing and manufacturing processes.
• Apply quality control methods for medium complexity products or equipment.
