Job summary

Mercury Marine, headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, seeks a Quality Assurance professional to maintain testing procedures and ensure product integrity. You will analyze data, identify root causes of nonconformances, and support containment and corrective actions using X-ray, CT, and CMM tools.

The role is on-site during night shifts, requiring an associate degree and 5+ years in manufacturing with strong GD&T and data-mining skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical/scientific field required.
• Five+ years in complex manufacturing and dimensional inspection.
• Proficient data mining and presenting data in formats (PowerPoint, Excel, etc).
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex production problems and variations.
• Lead problem solving teams and corrective action requests.
• Perform dimensional inspections with calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
• Create and interpret statistical reports (histograms, control charts).
• Conduct internal ISO audits and part audits.
• X-ray evaluation of castings, CT scans, and data rendering.
• May supervise 3 hourly employees.
