Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Quality Technician to oversee testing of compounds, wires, and cable assemblies in our manufacturing and lab environment. You will support the Quality Engineer and Manager to maintain the Quality Management System per ISO 9001.

The role requires 5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to drive projects both independently and in teams. Direct hire with benefits from Day 1 and a 2nd/3rd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• AS degree minimum; BS degree preferred.
• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with wire and cable is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support testing of compounds, wire, and cable assemblies in manufacturing and lab environments.
• Assist with complaint analysis and corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement, safety, and 6S events.
• Assist in changeovers, start-ups, and process audits.
• Train associates to use inspection equipment and enter data.
