Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a full-time technician to receive, verify, and prepare returned SSD products for failure analysis and data integrity.

You will perform ATE testing, preconditioning, and bench-level debugging to isolate failing components, and conduct board-level diagnostics with log extraction and root-cause support. You will maintain lab equipment and inventory, support end-to-end SSD lifecycle, and perform PCB rework including BGA removal and soldering, while adhering to

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and prepare returned SSDs for failure analysis, testing and data integrity.
• Implement ATE testing, preconditioning, and bench-level debug to isolate failing components.
• Perform board-level diagnostics including log extraction, failure reproduction, and root-cause support.
• Maintain lab equipment, chemicals, calibration, inventory, and ensure audit & safety compliance.
• Support drive inventory management and collaborate across teams for SSD end-to-end lifecycle, including storage and shipping of returned SSDs.
• Conduct PCB rework including BGA removal, re-balling, component replacement and soldering.
• Follow safety procedures and area work rules; assist engineers/managers as required.
• Explore opportunities to use AI tools (Copilot) to improve efficiency.
