Brook & Whittle Ltd. is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect products for defects and ensure conformance to specifications. You will assess processes that affect label quality and work with the Quality Manager to exceed customer expectations.

The role requires a keen color eye, strong attention to detail, and ability to read simple instructions. Proficiency in MS Word/Excel and data entry is expected; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

  • Keen eye for color – ability to distinguish between minimal color variances.
  • Attention to detail is essential for quality control.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Proficient with data entry and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read a ruler.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Willingness to cover teammates and work OT when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect products prior to finishing or shipping, and during production.
  • Perform process/SWIs audits and contribute to process improvements.
  • Review customer complaints as needed and report findings.
  • Check in and inspect returned materials.
  • Measure products using rulers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure specs.
  • Document and report deviations to Quality Manager.
  • Accept or reject finished items based on quality.
  • Collaborate with team to segregate rejected items from workflow.
