Job summary

Heartland Label Printers, LLC. is seeking a Quality Technician to support the Quality Department. You will conduct tests to validate product performance, perform audits, and act as the voice of the customer.

You will review specifications, evaluate finished goods, document deviations, and maintain audit records. The role involves lab upkeep, data recording, and collaboration with production teams to prevent defects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Reviewing product specifications to understand customer requirements.
• Evaluate physical and visual properties of finished products to meet requirements.
• Report deviations from standards to Production Supervisor and maintain audit records.
• Place nonconforming products on hold as required.
• Follow standard procedures, safety rules and calibration procedures.
• Record data accurately in audit database and retain samples.
• Maintain lab conditions, cleanliness, safety, and sample organization.
• Assist Quality team with additional assignments during slow production periods.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Train production team members on quality standards.
• Maintain professional relationships with coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
