Job summary

Aluma-Form is seeking a QA Inspector to perform audit setup and in-process, final, and rework inspections. You will document results, ensure conformance to specifications, and generate NCMRs and waivers as needed.

The role requires reading engineering prints, GD&T, and proficiency with SAP and EtQ quality modules. The ideal candidate adapts to a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborates across teams, and uses MS Office to maintain quality records and reports.

Qualifications

• Able to read engineering prints including GD&T.
• Familiar with Statistical Process Control methods and data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Communicate professionally with all levels of the organization, including suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Set up audits including in-process, final, and rework inspections and testing; document audit results on appropriate forms and maintain quality records.
• Follow procedures and control plans/work instructions for inspection/testing requirements.
• Determine conformity to current engineering/manufacturing specifications.
• Create Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) and waivers for nonconforming material.
• Complete required documentation concisely and timely.
• Perform layout inspections and generate Lab Test Requests for off-site testing.
