Job summary

The role requires a self-starter with strong time management and the ability to work independently while following safety and conduct standards. You will collaborate with QA and Production leadership to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in a quality control role or similar.
• Strong analytical and math skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with QC tools and techniques, e.g., SPC and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Train Inspector/Packers per approved program and perform testing for safety and inspection duties.
• Audit production line with documented QA inspections and coaching on standards.
• Daily verification of all production scales.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisors to identify and solve quality problems.
• Manage quarantine, holds and sorting documentation and processes.
• Communicate with QA Manager/Supervisor on unresolved quality issues.
• Conduct warehouse or dock audits as needed.
• Maintain accurate inspection and test result records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
