Job summary

Maysteel-Industries-LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform measurement, testing, and analysis across the production flow from receiving inspection to final audits. You will develop part-specific inspection plans and collect data from OQA, OBA, and capability studies.

The role requires reading prints, establishing function points, and performing FAI and PPAP inspections, with data entry into appropriate databases. ISO procedures and 6S practices are integral to daily activities.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets customer and internal prints to determine inspection requirements.
• Determines critical function points and quality criteria for products.
• Performs First Article Inspections and PPAP inspections with proper documentation.
• Records inspection data and audit results in applicable databases.
• Inspects products at various stages using standard measuring tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications for inspection criteria.
• Perform FAI, PPAP and Capability Studies and document results.
• Record data and audit results in databases and systems.
• Inspect at receiving and during production for dimensional and performance criteria.
• Calibrate and maintain hand tools and gages; support ISO and 6S initiatives.
