Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS is seeking a detail-oriented FQC Technician in Dalton, GA. The role focuses on in-line quality inspection and final product review to ensure high quality before delivery to customers.

The technician will conduct visual tests, document inspection results, and reject non-conforming products. The position requires the ability to work a 12-hour swing shift, including nights and weekends as needed, with adherence to SOPs and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with ability to analyze information on a computer monitor during extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Confirms product compliance to established quality standards by conducting visual tests.
• Rejects products that fail to meet established quality standards.
• Ensures line maintains productivity levels to meet production demands.
• Documents inspection results for final product grading.
• Reports issues to the line supervisor.
• Produces products that meet quality standards with minimal defects.
• Monitors standard equipment settings and escalates as needed.
• Assists other operators during breaks and is flexible to cover other areas.
• Follows standardized work and adheres to SOPs and work instructions.
• Adheres to Hanwha Q CELLS policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

FQC Technician

Reports to: Line Supervisor/Quality Supervisor

Location: Dalton, GA

Schedule: Swing Shift (12 hours)

Day: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Night: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

SUMMARY

The FQC Technician maintains high quality standards by reviewing final assembly products before delivering to our customer. The FQC Technician works as an in-line quality inspector to ensure top tier products by verifying all quality aspects of the module.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confirms product compliance to established quality standards by conducting visual tests.
• Rejecting products that fail to meet establish quality standards.
• Ensure line maintains productivity levels needed to meet production demands.
• Documents inspection results for final product grading.
• Report any issues requiring a Quality Technician to the line supervisor.
• Produce products that meet quality standards with minimal defects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills (specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing process
• Able to cope with pressure and be a team player
• Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
• Must be detail oriented and able to analyze information on computer monitor for 12 hours
