Job summary

Xylem is hiring a Quality Technician for the DuBois site on the night shift. The role focuses on ensuring quality initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with training during day shifts. Shift hours are 6:00 P.M.

to 6:00 A.M., 2-2-3 schedule, with initial training during the day. Responsibilities include QC inspections, data analysis, audits, and root-cause analysis while supporting Quality Engineers and participating in 5S and safety meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Quality ASQ certification a plus.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Fluent with MS Word/Excel.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Able to use precision measurement tools and equipment.
• Capable of following written directions and working in a team.

Responsibilities

• Gain an understanding of a specific Sensus product design, including materials and manufacturing requirements while working with cross-functional teams
• Develop and maintain inspection reports
• Conduct routine quality inspections and analyze data
• Perform product audits
• Identify improvement opportunities in quality control processes
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis through problem-solving tools on internal concerns or customer returns
• Support product Quality Engineers to achieve objectives
• Participate in 5S projects and safety meetings

Quality Technician – Night Shift

We are currently seeking a night shift Quality Technician for the DuBois, PA site. In this role, the Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring quality initiatives are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The night shift hours are 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. on a 2-2-3 schedule. Initial job training will be conducted during day shift hours.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Can work independently with minimal supervision, and be able to follow written directions

Compensation And Benefits

The estimated pay range for this position is $18.50-23.50 per hour. The starting pay rate is determined by various factors, including skills, experience, and work location.
