Job summary

RiseMe seeks a diligent QA professional for the 2nd shift in Fitchburg, MA to ensure products meet customer requirements and to authorize stoppages when quality issues arise. You will inspect materials, set up quality workstations, train staff, and participate in continuous improvement, with emphasis on documentation, audits and line clearance.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality standards, executing control plans, and ensuring proper records and MRB actions are taken when needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality tools such as corrective actions, PFMEA, 8D, and R&R.
• Experience with injection molding, machinery and tooling.
• Proficient in office software including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Release products which have passed critical customer requirements.
• Request production stoppage or process improvement as soon as quality problems are detected.
• Have the authority to stop production in event of a quality issue.
• Segregate and contain production lots manufactured while a quality issue is being corrected to prevent shipment to the customer.
• Has the authority to stop shipment in event of a quality issue.
• Inspects, audits and reports on materials, processes and products to ensure conformance with quality standards.
• Prints outs and prepares Quality Documents.
• Set up Quality Workstations, and approve start up parts prior to production.
• Fill out and complete quality documentation, file completed quality documentation, and clear Quality tools and gages from work area upon job completion.
• Issues MRB (NCPR) reports and performs quarantine operations as required.
• Train and assist in training permanent and temporary employees to MSS packets, auto control documents, work instructions, etc.
• Assists and provides promotion of Quality Concepts, New Quality Directives, and training.
• May be involved in more advanced elements of the Quality System including Calibration tasks and process validations.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities and general maintenance of quality areas.
• Runs workplace audit and analyzes results.

MISSION & TASKS – TECHNICAL

• Inspects, audits and reports on materials, processes and products using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards. oAssists and carries out quality instructions as defined on control plans, sampling plans, auto control documents, work instructions, etc. based on assigned responsibility
• Prints outs, and prepares Quality Documents
• Set up Quality Workstations, and approve start up parts prior to production
• Fills outs and completes quality documentation as required, file completed quality documentation, and clears all Quality tools and gages from work area upon job completion, and verifies Line clearance,
• Issues MRB (NCPR) reports and performs quarantine operations as required,
• Train and assist in training permanent and temporary employees as required to MSS packets, auto control documents, work instructions, etc. This will include training records as required
• Assists and provides positive promotion of Quality Concepts, New Quality Directives, Quality Requirements, training, etc.
• May be involved in more advanced elements of the Quality System including Calibration tasks, Device history records etc., process validations
• Participates in continuous improvement activities, and general maintenance of quality areas
• Runs workplace audit and analyze results
