Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an entry level Quality Technician to support calibration of gages and test equipment, and to ensure customer requirements are planned and implemented during purchasing, inspection, and launching of products.

You will assist Quality Engineers, prepare inspection documentation, perform quality inspections, review FAI/DFAI/PPAP, and help with CAPA, RMAs, and Hold processes while developing strong working relationships with internal and

Qualifications

• AS Degree or minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing.
• 1–2 years of experience in Quality role, strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in Calibration role, strongly preferred.
• IPC 610, 620 and J-STD Certification.
• Experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative assistance to Quality Engineers and other Quality Department team members.
• Reviews and assists with FAI, DFAI, IFAI, PPAP reports and submissions.
• Reviews and creates inspection instructions and documentation by assisting QE.
• Performs quality inspections in RI / Source.
• Reviews, assists, performs and provides guidance for customer RMAs, supplier RTVs, and maintains professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
