Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure customer requirements are planned and implemented during purchasing, inspection and launching of products. You will work with Programs, Operations and Engineering to identify problems, investigate causes and implement solutions that improve product quality and production efficiency.

Responsibilities include applying APQP for new product launches, using FMEA and CAPA processes, and leading cross-functional teams to monitor KPIs and

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering, 5+ years of quality experience preferred.
• Quality Engineer certification preferred.
• Experience in lean six sigma manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with quality tools (FMEA, Fishbone, 5 Why, 8D, VSM, Process Flow, A3).
• Excellent problem solving, statistical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Flow customer contractual requirements to all departments using industry specs (IPC, J-STD, ISO, AS, Mil-STD).
• Support QMS efficiency and ISO/AS compliance.
• Participate in new product introductions using APQP tools.
• Validate processes through Quality Assurance Control and updates to FMEAs.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and monitor KPIs.
• Drive root-cause analysis and CAPA to resolve issues and verify sustained effectiveness.
• Maintain professional/technical expertise through training and benchmarking.
