Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Whiteland, IN is seeking a Quality Technician II to perform quality audits, inspections, and documentation to support the QA system and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have attention to detail, ability to read and follow instructions, good communication, and basic computer skills. Shift 6:00 AM–2:00 PM; pay $20.50 per hour with a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift operator certificate within first 30 days of employment.
• Associate degree or equivalent in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality audits, inspections and documentation.
• Perform daily quality assurance activities as required by management.
• Monitor and report level of QMS implementation and effectiveness.
• Support QA training for new and existing associates.
• Support coordination of QA license, permit and registration activities.
• Collaborate with QA, Ops Performance and Process Improvement teams.

Role Purpose

Execute assigned tasks to support establishment, maintenance, alignment and continual improvement of the QA System. Responsible for day-to-day Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance with governmental regulations, customer requirements, quality assurance policies and procedures and accommodating requests for support.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform Quality audits, inspections and documentation.


• Perform daily quality assurance activities as required or directed by management.


• Monitor and report level of QMS implementation, compliance and effectiveness through audit activities, observation, review of quality metrics and customer feedback.


• Support QA training for new and existing associates.


• Support coordination of QA license, permit and registration activities.


• Work with Quality Assurance, Ops Performance and Process Improvement teams to progress Quality initiatives.
