Job summary

Transcendia is seeking a Quality Tech II to support product excellence and regulatory compliance in a hybrid role balancing QC testing in the lab with process auditing on the manufacturing floor.

Based in Grand Rapids, MI, the role partners with production teams to identify deviations, troubleshoot material variations, and ensure each roll of engineered film or custom material meets strict specifications and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in Applied Science preferred.
• Two (2) years of quality control work experience in manufacturing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills are essential
• Must possess good problem-solving skills and basic math skills
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with employees and vendors
• Solid verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Willingness to work as team member or independently
