Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in North Little Rock, AR is seeking a Quality Technician II for the 2nd shift. You will perform quality inspections on motor graders, wheel loaders and DV components, applying Caterpillar drawings and standards. The role offers day-one benefits and a quarterly bonus, with hours 3 p.m.

to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday. Experience in quality inspection and familiarity with SAP-ME, AQE and MS Excel is highly valued.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in quality inspection, welding & fabrication, machining, assembly, paint or logistics.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and Cat 1E specifications is desirable.
• Proficiency in SAP-ME, AQE and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
• Ability to use Teamcenter to view CAD models is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar drawings in EPIX/PRWB and 1E Specifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect quality of Motor Grader, Medium Wheel Loaders and DV components and DV machines.
• Emphasize assembly and paint process inspection per drawings and standards.
• Apply engineering drawings, specifications and standards to judge conformance of products.
