Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Quality Technician I to perform advanced dimensional and visual inspections across manufacturing processes. You will use CMM and vision systems, document results, and support SPC studies to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities include training operators, auditing equipment use, and interfacing with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with ISO 9001/13485 standards. A fast-paced, detail-driven environment awaits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in quality assurance.
• Knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance.
• Intermediate GD&T.
• Problem analysis and solving.
• Manage multiple requirements and deadlines.
• Mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Ability to use a microscope and hand tools.
• Cross-train in other areas of production when required.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections in support of first article, gage R&R, and process capability studies.
• Audit and train employees in the proper use of inspection equipment and documentation.
• Interpret SPC results.
• Manually operate and program various precision testing equipment including but not limited to tool scope, CMM, and vision systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and coworkers.
• Recommend changes to quality documentation.
• Perform key responsibilities of a Quality Inspector.
• Read and comply with work instructions, setup sheets, and checklists.
• Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis.
• Accurately record and report hours worked.
• Support and comply with ISO and medical device requirements.
• Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
