Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Quality Technician I to support manufacturing through development, evaluation, and continual improvement of processes using quality concepts and methodologies to meet customer quality expectations.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in metal fabrication with inspection, basic GD&T knowledge, and be proficient with measurement tools such as FARO and Micro-Vu. Onsite schedule M-F with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in metal fabrication with inspection or equivalent education/experience.
• Read and understand simple instructions, memos and short correspondence.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small groups.
• Compute rates, ratios and basic graphs for quality metrics.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, email and internet usage.
• Quality Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Release product for shipping with proper documentation per customer requirements.
• Apply basic GD&T concepts and verify dimensional data.
• Perform PPAP/first article part verification measurements.
• Support production by interpreting and developing manufacturing docs and teaching measurement techniques.
• Provide inspection of materials at receiving per process.
• Collect, evaluate and present quality metrics.
• Operate FARO and Micro-Vu equipment proficiently.
• Attend department meetings as required.
