Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Quality Technician I in Minnesota to perform advanced dimensional and visual inspections across manufacturing processes, and to document findings in GMP-compliant records. The role includes operating and programming precision testing equipment such as CMM and vision systems.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least three years in quality assurance, and solid GD&T knowledge, with strong attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in quality assurance.
• Knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance.
• Intermediate GD&T.
• Problem analysis and solving.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections in support of first article, gage R&R, and process capability studies.
• Audit and train employees in the proper use of inspection equipment and documentation.
• Interpret SPC results.
• Operate and program precision testing equipment including CMM and vision systems.
• Record and report hours worked and enter production data into ERP.
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
