Job summary
Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems LLC is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team onsite with a key customer in Greer, SC. You will perform torque validation and calibration to ensure accuracy and reliability of tooling and equipment, reporting to the Service Team Leader.
The role covers collaboration with the customer on the production line, documentation, and implementing error-proofing strategies to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a production environment or similar manufacturing setting.
- Equipment troubleshooting and calibration experience with a mechanical aptitude.
- Customer service experience to support the customer on the production line.
Responsibilities
- Ensure tools and equipment meet accuracy standards through routine inspections and calibration.
- Partner with the customer to provide technical support and resolve issues that may arise on the production line.
- Monitor operations and identify opportunities for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
- Support quality processes by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Help design and implement error-proofing strategies to improve reliability and prevent issues before they occur.
