Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Technician I at the Holly Hill Cement Plant in South Carolina. You will collect samples, perform tests on raw materials, process materials, and finished products to ensure product quality, and report results to management.

Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED (Associates/Technical preferred) and 0–1 year of experience. The role emphasizes safety, PPE, and a commitment to quality in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates/Technical Degree preferred.
• Field of study: Chemistry or related science.

Responsibilities

• Collects samples and performs accurate quality control testing to ensure product quality.
• Provides verbal and/or written test results to management and production staff in a timely manner.
• Examines laboratory and/or core samples to determine physical and chemical properties.
• Records, analyzes, certifies and prepares summaries of findings.
• Assists with customer service issues as required and troubleshoots problems.
• Leads or guides less experienced Tech QC/Inspectors on complex assignments.
