Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Technician at our Portland Cement Plant CO to perform sampling and quality tests on raw materials and in-process materials. You will generate timely test results, maintain data records, and assist with customer service issues as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, with an Associates/Technical Degree preferred and chemistry or science background. You must be able to work a rotating days/nights schedule and adhere to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates/Technical Degree preferred.
• Chemistry or science-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects samples and performs quality control testing to ensure product quality.
• Provides test results to management and production staff promptly.
• Maintains records of test results and analyzes data for trends.
• Troubleshoots quality issues and assists with corrective actions.
• Coordinates with production to prioritize repairs and deviations.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
