Job summary

Roseburg Forest Products seeks a QA/Lab Technician to support quality assurance and process monitoring at our Medford site. You will assist in testing, data recording, and ensuring compliance with QA standards.

Required associate degree with two years’ lab or quality control experience; proficiency in Excel and statistics; ability to operate testing equipment and lift up to 50 pounds; strong communication with operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and two years of experience in laboratory work, quality control, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow all quality and process standards.
• Proficient with computers, spreadsheet and statistical software.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in accordance with safety rules and participate in health & safety activities.
• Use descriptive statistics to identify non-conforming material to standards and targets.
• Ensure QA requirements are met according to QA manual and SOPs.
• Quarantine and segregate non-conforming product per procedures.
• Record testing and inspection results in databases or spreadsheets.
