Job summary

Roseburg Forest Products seeks a Quality Assurance/Control professional to operate the site’s QA program, assist with safety, environmental and quality regulations, and support testing, calibration and compliance with recipes and standards.

The role requires an Associate degree and two years of experience in lab work or manufacturing, with strong data recording and testing equipment skills to maintain conformance and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree and two years of experience in laboratory work, quality control, or general manufacturing
• Knowledge of quality and process standards
• Proficient with computers, spreadsheets, and statistics

Responsibilities

• Perform work safely and support health & safety activities
• Identify non-conforming material using site standards and targets
• Ensure QA requirements are met per QA manual and plant SOPs
• Quarantine, identify, and segregate non-conforming product
• Record results in databases or spreadsheets and flag out-of-spec results
• Verify packaging and appearance meet site and client standards
• Generate and analyze reports and charts
• Assist in maintenance tasks
• Support continuous safety, quality, and environmental improvements
