Job summary

Aptar is seeking a Quality Technician I for the 2nd shift to be based in Cary, IL. This fully onsite role involves performing random audits, COA testing, and root-cause analysis to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

You will use SAP and MS Office tools, read blueprints, and train production staff on quality procedures. The position requires two years of related experience and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical certifications in quality, manufacturing or related field are a plus.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Operator or equivalent manufacturing or quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform random audits on procedures and finished product to ensure quality.
• Conduct functional testing of product and measurements using inspection equipment.
• Assist with backtracking and troubleshooting quality issues affecting product quality or customer requirements.
• Participate in CAPA, A3, 8D and other CI initiatives.
• Perform COA testing of finished products as required.
• Review and approve COAs and communicate with customers.
