Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a 2nd shift technician to support production of medical device components in an onsite role in Maple Grove, MN. You will identify and troubleshoot process issues, modify tooling, and collaborate with engineers on continuous improvement and new product transfers.

You will work with vendors to install tooling, ensure quality, and train technicians while maintaining GMP compliance. Experience with tooling and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with a high school diploma/degree/equivalent may be required.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot process issues.
• Experience with tooling and fixtures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot process, material or equipment issues to minimize downtime and meet production goals.
• Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures.
• Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to improve processes.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Work with engineers on continuous improvement projects and new product transfers.
• Work with departmental customers to improve material / process quality.
• Identify and assist in resolving safety, health, or environmental issues associated with processes or equipment, and maintain compliance with good manufacturing practices.
• Train and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians.
• Write and execute validation protocols and technical reports.
