Pay Rate: 2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Job Summary

The Quality Technician ensures compliance with food safety standards within the Quality Monitoring Scheme, meeting regulatory, customer, and company quality initiatives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on production lines hourly for multiple lines.
• Report discrepancies with the Quality Management System (QMS) to supervisors.
• Ensure products meet legal and customer requirements.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Handle samples and product retentions properly.
• Follow procedures for non-conforming materials or products.
• Assist with HACCP and Preventive Controls checks and new product trials.
• Perform audits and inspections as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 months of experience as a Quality Assurance Technician.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Basic understanding of machinery and quality adjustments.
• Good communication skills; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office; SAP experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and cold temperatures.

Sponsorship is not available; candidates must be legally authorized to work.

Starting pay is $20.00/hr., with potential incentives and comprehensive benefits after 90 days.
