Circom, Inc. is an Electronic Manufacturing Services Provider in the Chicago Western Suburbs. We manufacture custom electronic and electrical assemblies for a variety of commercial and industrial customers. We are looking for a versatile full-time person to add to our production labor force. The successful applicant would be assigned various tasks and will have the following responsibilities.

Work Schedule - 1st shift:work hours 7:30AM to 4:00PM Monday-FridayJob Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities and requirements:

·Experience with and the desire to learn and do any of a variety of jobs from repetitive production assembly and testing, to maintenance procedures, assisting with operating stencil printers, pick and place machines, operating shop machinery and equipment, to component level circuit repairs, to assisting technical and engineering staff with special assignments.

·A positive attitude with a strong focused work ethic and the desire to contribute, learn, improve, and produce with quality.

·The ability to understand written and verbal instructions, to communicate well, and the willingness to ask questions for clarification.

·Experience with the operation and use of basic electronic test equipment such as a voltmeter and oscilloscope. Knowledge of IPC standards.

·Good soldering skills for small through-hole and surface mount components using RoHS solder.

·De-soldering skills using a hot tip vacuum de-soldering tool and various surface mount component removal tools.

·Analyze electronic and electromechanical assemblies to determine cause of product defect to include circuit analysis, part identification and diagnosis.

·The ability to read and interpret electronic circuit schematics and electrical wiring diagram’s.

·Maintain records, test data and develop reports as required.

·Basic computer skills needed to access documents, technical data on the Internet, send and receive E-mails, and basic use of WORD and EXCEL.

·Associates Degree in Electronics with 5-10 or more years' of experience in electronics.

The following would be additional desirable skills:

·Familiarity with set-up and configuration of computer networks.

·Experience with surface mount production machinery set-up and operation.

·Experience with 2D-3D CAD software such as Solidworks.

·Experience with PCB layout design software such as Altium.

·A second language such as Spanish
