Join to apply for the Quality Technician I - 2nd Shift role at Technetics Group.

The Quality Technician I is responsible for the metrology of product manufacturing, ensuring that the dimensions and form of the product meet Purchase Order and Drawing requirements.

Shift Details: 2nd Shift, hours are 3:15 pm - 11:45 pm with a 30-minute meal break. We pay a $3/hour shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards
  • Maintain product quality and consistency
  • Use standard procedures for routine inspection tasks
  • Make decisions within defined parameters for basic quality assessments
  • Refer complex issues to higher-level technicians or Quality Engineers
  • Maintain clear and accurate inspection records
  • Use measuring tools to assess product dimensions and quality
  • Document inspection results and report discrepancies
  • Assist in maintaining inspection equipment and work area cleanliness
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Familiarity with basic measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
  • Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and specifications
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
Preferred Experience:

0-2 years in manufacturing or quality control environment.
