Job summary

NLX Beverage Solutions, now integrated into Finlays Solutions, is seeking a Quality/Manufacturing Technician in New Lenox, IL. Under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor, you will implement SOPs and GMPs to ensure continuous production of safe, high-quality products and adherence to SQF, HACCP, and other standards.

You will inspect raw materials, monitor packaging accuracy, support audits, and help resolve quality issues on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Comprehend basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, divisions, weights and measures, calculator.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to communicate both written and orally within the organization.
• Ability to give positive suggestions to improve operations in the work center.

Responsibilities

• Practice and enforce SOPs and GMPs for Quality.
• Practice and enforce Safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor and verify accuracy of product, packaging, labeling and identifications.
• Support safe work practices and minimize hazards.
• Adhere to quality programs and document control.
• Assist in external audits and documentation.
• Inspect raw materials and perform juice tanker inspections.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Help resolve quality issues on the production floor.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve goals.
• Provide leadership by example and knowledge sharing.
• Learn and adhere to SQF, HACCP, and HACQP.
