Job summary

Hyve Solutions, a US-based manufacturer, is hiring a Quality Technician to support quality control and quality assurance in production, working with engineers on set-up and calibration tasks.

You will rework and document QA results, help develop QA methods, and participate in experiments; the team emphasizes data collection and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Uses programs to collect and evaluate data to document QA results.
• Assists in developing methods and procedures for QA and QC.
• Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
• Note: QC technicians focused on inspections, tests, and sampling may align with QC Inspector roles.

Quality Technician: Performs functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks and carrying out rework and quality assurance procedures related to production or operations. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data to assist in assessing and documenting results of quality assurance and control processes. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures for quality assurance and control. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Survey Tip: Technicians involved primarily with performing inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes should be matched to QC Inspector (7681-7684).
