Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineering Technician to support the Quality Management System across production, engineering, and supply chains. You will coordinate nonconformance activities, MRB processes, and NCR dispositions while driving quality improvements.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Procurement to ensure timely resolutions, monitor NCR metrics, and assist with calibration and 8D problem-solving efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a quality department.
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in quality.
  • Experience with ISO audits or knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 1400.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Support QMS processes and document NCR dispositions.
  • Facilitate MRB meetings with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate disposition activities with Production, Engineering, Procurement.
  • Monitor NCR aging, status, and closure metrics.
  • Perform calibration on inspection and test equipment.

This position works cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.Responsibilities:Support Quality Management System (QMS) processes in accordance with company procedures and applicable quality standards.Review, process, and coordinate NCR dispositions within the CISFacilitate and coordinate regular MRB meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to support disposition activities and material purge processes.Monitor NCR aging, status, and closure metrics and provide regular updates to management.Manage NCR escalations and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.Identify opportunities to improve NCR workflow efficiency and system effectiveness.Perform calibration activities on inspection, measurement, and test equipment as required.Assist with 8D problem-solving initiatives and corrective action implementation.Working knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) standards, with the ability to conduct routine ESD audits to ensure compliance with facility controls, equipment grounding, and handling procedures.Requirements:Previous experience working in a quality departmentAt least 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably in the quality departmentInspection experienceISO auditing experience or knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 1400Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications including outlook, Word, excel and Power point with strong bias towards ExcelExcellent attention to detail.
