Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer I to own key quality control processes, drive audits, and support ISO compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role involves collaboration with Production, Engineering and Procurement, implementing improvements, and ensuring product and process quality meet standards. Travel to multiple sites may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline with 3 years' experience in manufacturing, quality control and leadership.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawing and related tools.
• Knowledge of server-level component design and system integration.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SPC quality tools and training.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing and warehouse locations.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve Product and Processes Corrective and Prevention Action Plans.
• Assess and evaluate reliability testing, equipment service, calibration and verification processes.
• Perform failure analyses, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Execute internal audits on QMS, EMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Coordinate UL and other regulatory factory audits.
• Conduct regular conference calls with customers or vendors and provide reports as needed.
• Work with internal Production, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Program Managers and Procurement to meet quality standards.
• Develop proactive solutions and implement Quality department strategies across the organization.
• Perform additional assessment and analysis as assigned.

Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Quality Engineer with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.

As a Quality Engineer I, you will take ownership of key quality control processes, including audits, fall-out management, and ISO compliance, to ensure products and practices meet company and industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, implement improvements, and support continuous compliance with ISO requirements. This hands-on role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a drive to achieve results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will report directly to the Quality Manager.

You will

• Review and approve Product and Processes Corrective and Prevention Action Plans.
• Assess and evaluate all reliability testing, equipment service and calibration and the verification process.
• Perform failure analyses, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Execute internal audits on QMS, EMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Coordinate UL (Underwriter’s Laboratory) and other regulatory factory audits.
• Conduct regular conference calls with customers or vendors and provide reports as needed.
• Work with internal Production, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Program Managers and Procurement to meet quality standards.
• Develop proactive solutions and implement Quality department strategies across the organization.
• Perform additional assessment and analysis as assigned.

You have

• BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline plus 3 years of experience including a combination of 2+ years in manufacturing, 3+ years in quality control and 3+ years in a leadership position or equivalent combination of experience.
• Proven understanding of mechanical drawing and/or tools
• You should have a good understanding of server level component design and operation, as well as computer system level integration processes and interoperability.
• Working knowledge of MS Office programs; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with quality system training including understanding of SPC (Statistics Process Control) principles and tools.
• Established ability prioritizing and managing multiple projects to meet strict deadlines.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high volume, and diverse environment across functions to produce expected results.
• Able to work as business needs require, which may include long days, occasional evenings and weekends, and travel to all manufacturing and warehouse locations, for business meetings or training.
