Job summary

Generac seeks a Quality Technician I/II/III to oversee parts quality throughout the facility, partnering with internal units to ensure precise inspection of incoming parts. The role supports QMS, data collection, and analysis, driving continual quality improvements across operations.

With support from leadership, the technician will help maintain standards, participate in process improvements, and ensure safe, efficient production quality throughout the site.

Qualifications

• Conducts process and product audits to ensure SOPs and quality standards.
• Implements resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems.
• Supports Quality Management Systems, data reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conducts process and product audits to ensure team members follow SOPs and quality standards.
• Implements resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems.
• Drives data collection, reporting and analysis for quality improvements.
• Cross trains in multiple departments and flexes to other stations as needed.
• Assists with NPI/ECN changes and other duties in the quality team.
• Suggests improvements to equipment, designs, and processes to boost safety and quality.
• Resolves problems with peers or supervisors depending on complexity.
