Qualifications

  • Experience in quality control within ISO-9000 and IATF 16949 environments.
  • Skilled in using laboratory instruments and conducting tests.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze statistical control data to identify trends in product quality.
  • Monitor and report on the success of corrective actions taken.

Job description

What you will do

Under general supervision, analyzes statistical control data to identify unfavorable trends in process and product quality for the plant. Involves process engineering and production supervision as necessary to identify and correct the cause and to eliminate/minimize future occurrences. Monitors and reports success of corrective actions and the statistical control process.

How you will do it:

  • Perform chemical and electrical tests, as well as raw material inspections.

  • Analyze statistical control data to identify unfavorable trends.

  • Involve process engineering and production supervision to correct issues.

  • Monitor and report success of corrective actions.

  • Prepare and distribute in-plant quality summaries and reports.

  • Maintain health and safety practices with hazardous materials in the laboratory.

What we look for:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Quality experience in ISO-9000 and IATF 16949 environment.

  • Experience with laboratory instruments and equipment.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft software tools.

  • Knowledge and experience with statistical process control and/or Six Sigma.

  • 2 years quality control experience in manufacturing environment.
