Job summary

ATACO Steel Products Corp. seeks a Quality Technician to perform dimensional inspections, develop inspection programs, and manage quality documentation on the shop floor.

The role supports PPAP, FAI, and new product activity while driving problem-solving and continuous improvement on the manufacturing line. You will work with Production, Engineering, and Quality to implement inspection methods and programs, using Keyence, PC-DMIS, and PolyWorks to ensure conformance and traceability across data,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on programming in Keyence, PC-DMIS or PolyWorks to create/edit inspection programs.
• PPAP and FAI experience required.
• Experience with CMMs or other dimensional inspection equipment.
• Ability to read GD&T and customer specifications.
• Experience ballooning drawings and preparing inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform FAI, in-process, final, PPAP, and dock inspections.
• Use standard inspection tools and CMMs to verify conformance.
• Read drawings, apply GD&T, and verify customer specifications.
• Balloon drawings and prepare inspection reports for FAI/PPAP and submissions.
• Maintain quality documentation and inspection data.
