Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Process Control Technician – Dimensional to support our Quality team. The role focuses on dimensional inspections, SPC analysis, and maintaining inspection programs to ensure customer and internal quality requirements are met.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with dimensional inspection, SPC, sheet metal components, and welding inspection, and can work cross-functionally with Engineering and Production to drive root-cause actions and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in quality inspection, process control, or dimensional inspection preferred.
• Level IV NDT certification in UT required.
• Experience with SPC and sheet metal stamping/assemblies a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections and verify components, assemblies, and tooling meet requirements.
• Interpret SPC control charts and data to identify process issues and containment actions.
• Inspect fixtures and perform SPC inspections.
• Develop and maintain gauging and inspection instructions.
• Verify inspection records meet quality standards.
• Identify and contain non-conforming material and communicate issues to leadership.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Weld Technicians, and Production for root causes and corrective actions.
• Support root-cause investigations and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain welding and inspection equipment and calibrations.
• Assist with customer sample submissions as needed.
• Train employees on process control and inspection methods.
• Maintain accurate inspection equipment and work area cleanliness.
