Schaller Corporation is seeking a Quality Technician for Day and Midnight shifts in Chesterfield, MI. The role inspects parts, checks dimensions with metrology tools, and processes non-conforming parts. You will work with the Quality Manager to address issues and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of quality experience using check fixtures, calipers and micrometers.
• Must be a self-starter with good organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Dependable and motivated individual with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor parts to ensure quality and conformance.
• Set up and check dimensions on parts with metrology instruments.
• Red tag and create repair orders for non-conforming parts.
• Perform gaged and capability studies.
• Interface with the Quality Manager to address issues.
• Enter data from paper documents for record-keeping.
• Check, sort, and file paperwork.
• Support continuous improvement activities and related duties.
