Zusammenfassung

FM Industries in Livermore, CA is hiring a Quality Technician for day shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM). You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, support first article preparation, and help monitor quality metrics using SPC, GR&R, and POR data analysis.

You will generate Customer First Article Reports, maintain inspection records, and collaborate with engineers to improve processes. Proficiency with GD&T, engineering drawings, and measuring tools is required. ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 2- or 4-year degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in Quality Control or Quality Assurance related role, preferably in a manufacturing related industry.
• Requires basic knowledge in GD&T.
• Requires basic knowledge to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge and use of precision testing equipment and tools (caliper, micrometer, pin gage, profilometer).
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio is essential.
• Ability to communicate clearly at various levels of the organization, with suppliers and customers.
• Teamwork orientation is essential in this role.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus (Epicor, Vantage, Oracle, SAP).

Aufgaben

• Focus on accuracy and detail to meet company quality standards.
• Prepare, publish and submit Customer First Article Reports.
• Complete regular Quality Operation Metric Reports to management for review.
• Complete AQL sampling or 100% inspection and maintain complete and accurate inspection reports as required.
• Utilize various measuring equipment to measure and collect data to determine component acceptance.
• Generate Nonconformance or Discrepant Material Reports to record and control all nonconforming material.
