Job summary

Enviva seeks a Quality Technician to sample and test materials, ensuring alignment with client specs and quality standards. The role uses electronic systems to record results, track issues, and initiate quarantines when needed, while maintaining safety and calibration of lab equipment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years in manufacturing, and proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and databases; an Associate’s degree and CQT are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
• Two years of manufacturing or similar environment experience required.
• CQT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods, and environmental samples to meet client specifications daily.
• Follow workflows and maintain accurate records.
• Utilize electronic systems and databases for data storage and analysis.
• Investigate quality issues and propose/test improvements.
• Perform occasional special-project tests and adhere to safety procedures.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure timely calibration.
