The Quality Assurance Technician/Calibration will be responsible for both product quality and compliance to industry standards. This technician role will test, calibrate, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, analytical and electronic measuring, recording and indicating instruments, and equipment for conformance to established standards. This role will also assist in quality control, product testing, be involved in problem solving exercises.

Key Responsibilities

• Calibration: Maintain accurate calibration records, troubleshoot instruments and equipment, repair instruments and equipment, and help set up laboratory and test equipment.
• Quality Control: Inspect ceramic capacitors at various production stages to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Testing: Conduct electrical and mechanical tests on capacitors to evaluate performance and durability.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of calibration, inspections, and test results.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and address quality issues, collaborating with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions
• Process Improvement: Assist in refining manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and reduce defects
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company quality policies.
  
  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in quality assurance or calibration is a plus.
• Previous experience in quality assurance, calibration, or ceramics manufacturing is a plus.
