Job summary

Crystal Geyser Water Company is seeking a Quality Technician to monitor and ensure the quality and safety of bottled products in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves routine testing, inspections, and documentation to support quality control in the bottling process.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficient with lab tools and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process quality checks on bottling line samples.
• Conduct physical, chemical, and sensory tests on bottled products.
• Collect and analyze samples for microbiological testing when required.
• Document deviations and escalate to supervisors; quarantine issues as needed.
• Monitor and calibrate quality instruments and testing equipment.
• Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support sanitation, GMP and internal/external audits.
• Maintain compliance records (FDA, FSSC 22000, CDPH, HACCP).
• Cross-train on filler equipment and obtain Cannery License within 1 year.
• Perform start-up procedures and sample collection/testing from equipment.
